While retaining employment with the company but, shortly after the move, a decision was made by the officers of the company to stop reselling the specific software she had been supporting for 5 years. This was the perfect transition for her to directly support clients using this software.
Janice started Cornsilk Company in January 1996 from a home office. To this day, she continues to support many of her original clients. In addition, she has contracted directly with software vendors to consult with end-users and provide regional training in the continental US. Currently her largest client is the Federated States of Micronesia. She supports both the National and State Government Finance and IT Departments.
